For the past few weeks, I've been really trying hard to get into a new routine. I feel like it's finally starting to click. You want to know what's difference? I finally have real motivation!
What's real motivation you might ask? Instead of trying to force myself into a mould I didn't like or really appreciate at depth, I found myself a job I was really excited about and made my routine about that. Every day starts the same way, with a small workout and breakfast before work at 7am, with intermittent workouts during breaks and lunchtime. Simply adding a bit of physical activity to my routine has taken my energy levels through the roof!
Next, I'm making sure to focus the majority of my day on only work, forcing me into a ready-set-go mindset once I'm done work and it's time for school. Being able to switch from one task that I'm getting fatigued on, move to another area of the house, then start working again in another capacity is HUGE! The amount of work I've gotten done since 7am astounds me on a daily basis. By taking up a major portion of my day and not letting my mind wander too far from it, I become much more productive and energized once I have the ability to put effort towards my schoolwork, hobbies, or other areas of work.
